As a listener of Five on Design, I wanted to start this episode out by saying thanks. This is going to be my last episode for the show. I want to express my gratitude for everybody who’s tuned in, subscribed, listened, left comments and emails this last year.

Anytime that I sit down and do a podcast, whether it’s this show or shows in the past, it’s been fun to connect with fellow designers. It’s fun hearing the different thoughts and opinions and feelings that are out there.

I hope the show has been beneficial to everybody who’s listening. For me, it’s been great to get my thoughts and opinions out there in a way that I feel is helpful to the community at large.

It seemed that print design was a under-represented when I started the show. I wanted to create something that a variety of designers would appreciate instead.

That said, while this is goodbye for now, I’ll leave the door open on picking the show up again in the future. I have some great plans for new content in the new year.

I’ll still be continuing my weekly newsletter, Finally Friday. You can sign up on my website. Whatever new project I end up doing in the new year will likely be announced to the newsletter and I’m sure you’ll want to be the first to know.

More than anything, I want to continue focusing on type design. I’ve maintained a Creative Market store over the past few years and I want to expand it. Taking some time to focus on finishing up a few new fonts will certainly be a boost to it.

Anyway, thank you again for listening to the show. Thanks (times a million) for subscribing. Thanks for the kind comments. This was a fun project that I got a lot of enjoyment out of, and I hope you have as well.
