Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren

Since 2016, I've been working in Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren’s marketing department to design all of the firm's advertising, marketing and promotional materials.

The biggest challenge I had to face was finding consistency in the firm’s brand image. Advertisements looked different from the website, which was different from collateral pieces. I spent my first year building a comprehensive set of brand standards that could be used to carry the Reinhart brand forward. Ads now mimic many of Reinhart’s other pieces and command more attention next to the firm’s competition.

In 2017, I collaborated with a local brewery to design a special edition Reinhart Ale label as a promotional piece for sponsored events. The beer was an instant hit with staff, clients and potential clients. Reinhart Ale's label design won a Your Honor Award in the Promotional and Collateral Materials Category at the 2018 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Awards. Reinhart was the only Wisconsin-based law firm to be recognized in the global competition. Additionally, the label design won a Gold ADDY during the 2018 American Advertising Federation Awards in Madison, Wisconsin.

I also undertook the redevelopment and user interface upgrade on the Reinhart website. Over a period of 90 days, I re-coded the content management system to work better with modern browsers and user expectations that were gathered from research and testing. The new website was relaunched in 2017 with a better experience, faster speeds, and an easier way for staff to manage and update key components.
